My Story

Even as a little girl, I found the connection between our bodies and the environment fascinating. I spent long summer days in the woods collecting plants and mushrooms, and learning how they are used for healing. I always wanted to cure people. But the older I got the more I realised that doctors who were supposed to be healers, were actually drug dealers, so I studied psychology, but soon realised it doesn’t deal with the whole being. The human organism is brilliant and complex and needs to be treated as such. So, I studied Nutrition and then Nutrigenomics and this led me to Integrative Oncology.

In addition to my clinical work, I am also available for speaking opportunities around the world — from conferences and workshops to podcasts and special events. If you’d like me to speak at your event, I’d love to hear from you.

What People Are Saying

Working with Amanda was one of the most pivotal and powerful decisions I made after being diagnosed with stage IV cancer. In a world where patients are often left to navigate complex, life-altering and limiting conditions alone, Amanda has been a calm, intelligent force of clarity and care.

She doesn’t just understand the science - she applies it in a way that’s personal, practical, and deeply compassionate. Her knowledge of nutrition, supplementation, and integrative therapies is second to none, and her guidance has helped me to significantly reduce inflammation, manage treatment side effects, and feel genuinely stronger throughout.

Amanda has never tried to replace conventional care, but to complement it - giving me a strategy that works with my body, not against it. She listens, adapts, and most importantly, empowers. She helped me not just feel supported - but understood too.

I can (and do actively) wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a holistic, science-informed partner on their own cancer journey. She’s made a profound difference to mine, and is a key part of why I’m still here fighting.

Working with Amanda has brought a sense of calmness and clarity in a very confusing world of cancer. She is a key player on my health team and always will be. Amanda walked beside me as I journeyed along the path from addressing cancer to cancer prevention. Her blogs are the best in this space, direct, simplified and easy to digest. She masters her area of expertise and leverages other thought leaders to ensure her knowledge is current and data to ensure it's verifiable. Make sure you have Amanda or someone like her on your team.

I’ve worked with Amanda over several months on a number of challenging health issues. Despite the fact that I am quite knowledgeable about good natural health and nutrition I needed the expertise of someone like Amanda to take me to the optimal level. She has worked tirelessly to help me achieve this..always on hand answering queries with both empathy and knowledge.

The Nutrigenomics reports she suggested were an absolute game changer and the best investment in your health that you could ever make. Amanda broke down the complex results into understandable layman terms to create a nutrition and supplement programme personalized to my needs.

I highly recommend Amanda to anyone who is fed up putting on sticking plasters covering a problem and want to get to the core of the issues. You will be rewarded the feeling of true well being and being the best you that you can be.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Naturopaths are healthcare practitioners who specialise in naturopathic medicine. Focused on prevention, natural therapies, and holistic approaches to promote healing and wellness.

Trained in conventional medical sciences as well as natural and alternative therapies. Our goal is to seek the underlying causes of illness rather than just addressing symptoms, supporting the body's innate ability to heal itself.

Naturopathic practitioners may use treatments such as nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle counselling, physical medicine, and homeopathy. Creating personalised plans to enhance physical, mental, and emotional health.

In Europe, Naturopathic Practitioners are regulated healthcare professionals who must meet specific educational and training requirements and adhere to standards of practice. I am a member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and regulated by them. I may work in private practice, integrative healthcare clinics or collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care for my patients.

  • We typically start by earning a bachelor’s degree or Level 6 diploma that covers subjects such as physiology and anatomy, biochemistry, nutritional pharmacology, supplements (orthomolecular nutrients), and diagnostic testing. This qualification offered by institutions like The College of Naturopathic Medicine when combined with the postgraduate Naturopath course, takes about five years to complete.

To enrol in this program, applicants must already hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent Level 6 qualification in human biology.

Naturopaths are trained in various modalities, including iridology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or bodywork. Often becoming a specialist in one area. Sadly, the industry is not as tightly regulated as the medical field, which means some people may call themselves naturopaths without these extensive qualifications.

Top tip: Look for the post-nominal ND – it identifies those of us who have completed Level 6 and 7 studies (bachelor’s and master’s degrees) in naturopathy.

  • Nature provides the best medicine. Naturopathic nutrition emphasises this. It’s a powerful combination of biochemistry and nutrition with natural therapies and lifestyle changes. It uses natural and whole foods to support your body's ability to heal itself and maintain optimal health. Consuming whole, unprocessed foods is essential for feeling good and staying healthy.

Naturopathic nutritionists operate on the belief that the body is self-healing and, given the right conditions, will naturally return to health through a process called homeostasis. I work with clients to develop personalised health plans that address the whole person, not just the symptoms.

I take into consideration your lifestyle, your ethics, and your food preferences. Sometimes, supplements, herbs, and other natural therapies are recommended to correct imbalances and promote overall well-being.

  • After a thorough analysis of health and lifestyle from me, you will receive personalised recommendations ranging from a variety of treatments and modalities, including:

    • Nutritional therapy

    • Herbal medicine

    • Supplements

    • Education

    • Lifestyle counselling

    • Physical medicine

We'll work together to find therapies and treatment plans that are realistic for you, addressing your physical and mental well-being.
